Submit Results, Payout, Points

During, or immediately following the tournament you will need to input results, submit payout, and assign points. This tutorial explains the process.

Input Scores

The system is designed for TD’s to add scores between rounds so that players can see their current standings by looking at the event page. If you don’t have an internet connection on the course, you can input scores following the event.

To import scores, simply go to the Input Scores Tab, and enter the scores for each player. The “TD Verification” checkbox is optional. The search feature makes it really handy to find players as soon as they turn their cards in.
After a few results are added, you can “save” your added scores. Doing so will allow players to see the current standings on the event page.
You do not want to press the “Save and Submit Ratings” button until all scores for each round have been entered. Pressing this button will display the players Infinite Rating for the round.

Award Points

After your scores have been entered you can award your players their Next Gen points.

While in the Tournaments Tab select the blue calculator button next to the appropriate event.

Next select what PDGA sanctioning you used for your event (this determines the point multiplier).

Click the “Calculate Points” button, verify that the scores are correct, scroll to the bottom of the screen and press “OK”.

That’s it. Points have been assigned and your players can see where they rank in the overall and regional standings.

Submit Payout

If you are running a NG Exclusive or Premier event, go to the “payout tab” and follow these instructions for submitting payout to your division winners.

With everything now entered in to the Next Generation website, it is now really easy to export everything to the PDGA website if yours is a sanctioned event.  Follow these instructions to upload your results to the PDGA.
